I finished the 198 Yards of Heaven shawlette before the end of the year.
I'm kind of ambivalent about this project. While it looks good all spread out, I'm not too sure about wearing it. It's a little too small to wear would around the neck like a scarf, and I don't do the shawl around the shoulders thing.
It is, however, a good pattern and would be easy to make larger (or smaller) depending on yarn choice and needle size. This project would also be fantastic for a first-time lace project.
Pattern: 198 Yards of Heaven by Christy Verity
Yarn: Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran in Parchment. I used one full skein and a bit into a second full skein along with the remains of another skein. I have no idea if I actually used 198 yards, but it wasn't much.
Needles: US 7
Pattern Mods: None, I think. The pattern does leave a little gap at the top back of the neck so I used some creative weaving in of the ends to close it up.

Now, I LOVED this knit. Of course, I blocked it within a thread of its life to make it larger.
