In honor of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, I'm going to donate 21% of all my pattern sales this month to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati. The DSAGC is my local Down syndrome association. They provide support to people with Down syndrome of all ages and their families. They also provide support for educators and medical professionals. In addition, the DSAGC is home to the National Down Syndrome Adoption Network. I urge you to check out their website to see all of the great services they provide to our community and to the country. Why 21% of my sales? Because people with Down syndrome have an extra copy of the 21st chromosome!
