October is Down syndrome awareness month. 31 for 21 is a little blogging thing where the participants blog everyday for the month of October in hopes of raising a little awareness about life with an extra chromosome. Lately, I've developed some pretty strong opinions on life with that extra chromosome; most of those opinions I won't share because I think they won't go over too well.
I think most of my posts will be about our everyday life and knitting (gasp!). Because, you know, that extra chromosome, is much ado about nothing in these parts. As it should be.

I’m looking forward to hearing more from you this month! I will say, though, that if you feel like you have something important to say, don’t hold back because you’re afraid of offending someone. They don’t have to read your blog if they don’t like it. Also, you might be surprised to find out that a lot of people would agree with you.
Just sayin’. ๐

yeah, what Jen said — sometimes the things I’m afraid to say are the ones people come out of the woodwork to say “me too!” about.
or so it seems, anyway.
