It's been really quiet here on the blog lately. I know I say that every time I post. I really don't mean to forget to post, but I do.
I don't have much knitting to show. I've been working on a lot of swatches, and everything I've been working on is the kind of project I can't share at the moment. It makes for boring blogging.
I do have some exciting news though! Back in July, I contacted Jill Zielinski (aka Knitterella) about creating a logo for me. I sent her some ideas about what I wanted and let her get to work.
My logo is ready to share with all of you.
I love it so much! I asked Jill to create a logo that reflected my Appalachian heritage. I mentioned rocking chairs as an idea, and this is what she created. It's simple and classic but still interesting, which is what I strive for in my designs. I hope it conjures up the idea of relaxing in a rocking chair with your knitting, watching the world go by. Maybe with a glass of sweet tea by your side.
You'll see the logo on all of my patterns now. Speaking of patterns, expect an upcoming pattern release very, very soon. I know some of you are eagerly waiting for the next pattern. There are just a few small revisions to make it ready for the world. In the meantime, pull up a chair and knit.
