Hi everyone! My name is Liam. You’ve seen my picture below. Thanks to everyone who tells my mommy how cute I am. Well, duh! This is what me and my mommy do when I don’t give her enough time to knit.
We read knitblogs.
I think they’re incredibly boring, but my mommy seems to like them. She’s found a couple of new ones and she added links to this blog. One day soon she’s going to add some more links to blogs and other sites about Down Syndrome. Well, anyway, I need to tell my mommy that it’s time for me to eat or change my diaper or something. I do like hearing how cute I am. Check me out in my cool bulldozer outfit.
Oh, one more thing before I get real cranky, my mommy says that daddy and I are going to hang out on Monday nights so she can go spend time at the LYS. Daddy says it’s important that mommy stays happy, cause if mommy ain’t happy, then daddy ain’t happy.

I’m here via Katy/Knitterpated – Liam is CUTE! You look like you’re doing remarkably well – to be knitting in the first few weeks post delivery is quite an accomplishment.
There are a few DS-parent blogs on my blogroll (in the “parents of kids who work a little harder” category)
Congrats to your little bundle – I’d ask to kiss his little toes if I were there in person ๐

You are such a smart little man Liam. Your Mommy is just trying to keep you well rounded with the kitting blogs and your Daddy will do the sport stuff. ๐
Thanks for letting Mommy get a break and spend time with us on Monday nights. We would like to see you too though. Maybe you an Daddy could stop by so we can get a live look at how cute you are.
Mindy, Were you still planing an escape tomorrow? I am taking James to my Moms and going over to knit. I will be there Monday as well – God willing and the creeks don’t rise. ๐

Also here via Katy/Knitterpated. Have to say, though — my 4- and 6-year-old kids are learning quickly that “if momma ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy.” Although the same could be said of any member of our household. Liam is ADORABLE. And the exhaustion will subside bit by bit. One day, you’ll climb into bed at night and realized that you hadn’t spent the bulk of the day daydreaming about that moment.
Congratulations on your little one!

Hi Mindy! I hadn’t visited your blog in forever nor gone to knitting group in forever so today I did both! Nancy and Laura said you posted about little Liam so I couldn’t wait to come home to see him. Congratulations! I’m sure you’re so busy and so swamped but this will be one of the happiest times in your life. I am very happy for you. I know he was a long time coming. Sorry to hear about all the doctor visits. I understand why they can bring you down.
Take care and I bet we’ll run into each other soon (at a yarn sale!!) And give that beautiful boy a big squeeze for me.

That second picture is so adorable that it’s all I can do not to plan a kidnapping. What a beautiful baby.

What a beautiful little man you are, Liam! Congratulations to your mommy and daddy too for taking such good care of you! It is important that you be schooled in the fiber arts as well as the abc’s, so just think of this as an opportunity to get ahead in life ๐
