Doug's mom is visiting for the weekend.  She's sleeping in Liam's bed so we put Liam in the Pack n' Play in our room. 

This morning Liam wakes up with his usual smile and exclamations of Daddy!  Juliana is cooing and giggling in her bed.  I go, get her up, change her diaper, and bring her into our room.  I pick Liam up and put him in the bed.  Juliana goes in next.  I follow.

There we are.  All four of us.  Snuggled in under the covers.  Liam is giggling.   Juliana is snuggled in to me, sucking her thumb.  She pops the thumb out and squeals, all the while with a smile plastered on her face.  Liam gives her a big kiss.  Doug and I are holding hands, reaching out above the wiggling, giggling two.

This is perfect.  Just what I always wanted.
