About this time last year, I knit a Ripley hat.  I finished this in about a day.  I'm pretty sure I finished it on Thanksgiving.  I know I was at my mom's house for Thanksgiving so it was either that evening or the next day.  What day was it when the Tiger Woods scandal started to break?  That was when I knit this hat.  For whatever reason, I never got around to taking pictures of it.

Believe it or not, this is too big for her noggin, but not by much.  She does enjoy wearing it though. 

The yarn is Lorna's Laces Worsted in Chino.  It's a nice tan with bits of a subtle pink running through it.  Almost solid, but not quite.  I knit the cloche version with the lace trim. 

I adore it and wear it quite a bit.
