And so it begins

The shawl and its pattern are much further along than what is shown here.  The pattern is mostly finished.  All that's left to complete is to finish up the charts, which is the most difficult part of the process for me.

This pattern is a small, triangular shawlette knit in a fingering weight yarn.  I'm using Malabrigo Sock in Aguas.  The top portion of the triangle is in stockinette, and the bottom edge is a simple, wavy lace.  I'm still undecided about the bind off, but that's an easy problem to solve.

I want to get this written up and off for other people to knit.  Shawl #2 is sketched out and is waiting for its pattern.  A hat and a pair of socks are not far behind.  My little idea notebook is filling up fast.

Just a quick question about the chart for this pattern. The garter tab gives you 9 stitches, but row 1 of the chart had a whole lot more than that, and does not start with k3, p3, k3 like the written instructions do. Am I missing something here? Thanks for your help.
