Evening Knitting

February 11, 2011 By Mindy

Most knitters I know have a few projects going at the same time.  There is almost always a project that can be picked up at any time and can be knit without much concentration–TV knitting, mindless knitting, evening knitting.

My current project is one such pattern.  The Mara Shawl is a free pattern from Madeline Tosh, and it's perfect for stashing in my big bag and knitting when the opportunity strikes.  I've knit this project while waiting to drop Liam off or pick him up from preschool, while waiting during Liam's physical therapy appointments, while waiting at his eye doctor appointment, and while watching TV in the evening.

I think this will be a nice accessory for my daily uniform of jeans and a sweater (or a t-shirt).
