I wrote an e-mail to the cable company this morning telling them that they suck. Well, I didn’t word it that way; I was professional. Their response was pure crap. They told me that they were aware of service outages on 5/17 and that it is fixed. Uh, first, that’s not what I was writing about. Second, we can’t watch 2 local channels and 19 digital channels because they do. not. come. in. I don’t give a rat’s ass about missing the finales of Grey’s Anatomy and CSI. I want to watch the local news . Everyday. I would like to watch some of the digital channels, but 19 (19!) don’t come in. That’s shitty shitty service.
I’ve told them that if they do not have a timely response to fix it, then, sorry, you no longer get my $70 a month.
In good news, Scout is sending out the second batch of swag. It includes a Cookie A. pattern. This makes me unreasonably happy.

Cable companies really suck sometimes. I hope they fix it. But getting stuff in the mail is especially exciting!!

My mom has been fighting with their cable company all week! Good luck, do you guys have Time Warner? If so, they really suck!
Natalie says
Hm. I’ve never had any problem with ours, and they even give us discounts just because I ask!

Cable sucks especially if you have Time Warner. We dumped them quite a few years ago. We went with Directv. We love them and they are much cheaper. You might want to check them out. They used to be running a special where if someone refered you, you got $50 and the person that refered you got $50 off their bill. Keep me in mind if you think of changing ๐ The only down fall is if a storm kicks up in the right spot it will go out for a few minutes. Normally it is no big deal and for the $$ that I am saving I can handle it. Our cable was out more than on. So I saai “screw them”. Good luck in fighting with them.
Yay for more swag headed your way.
