You ever have one of those days where you feel like the deities are spitting on you or sticking a bunch of needles into your voodoo doll? That would be my day. Times ten. I left the house this morning, got about 5 minutes from work, and realized that when I changed bags this morning I didn’t pick up my work keys. So I have no access to the contents of my desk, my files, nothing. So I have to turn around and go back and pick them up. It takes me over an hour to finally get to work. And, well, work. It…(trying to think of a good word here), well, it blows really. I drop things, I lose things, I forget what I’m doing and have to turn around and retrace my steps. There are other issues too but I can’t really divulge. But at least I still could’ve figured out what an envelope was. That’s for you, Sara.
Knitwise, I give you this…
And this…
The Booga has been going on for a while. It’s just been a pick up and knit when I get a chance kind of project.
The fairly easy fair isle continues. Almost finished with sleeve 2, but with only 1 skein left I’m getting more and more wary that I’m not going to have enough yarn to finish it.
I really need to get my ass in gear. Klaralund is still waiting. I bought yarn to make a bookbag and a cell phone case for my sister as a birthday gift. Not the knitting hating sister. She gets nothing.
The only thing to cheer me up today is that spring is finally here. Proof?
Spike’s first kill of the season. And these.
Soon my whole backyard will be filled with these. Now, I’m going to go put my PJ’s on, pour myself a glass of wine, eat some chocolate cake, and read Stephanie’s great little book.
