Give me some suggestions

I need a sock pattern.  I want to knit a pair of stirrup socks.  Not socks that have stirrups, but socks for me to wear for the IUI.  I know, I know…fat chance of me finishing socks before the IUI in a few weeks.  I still want to knit a pair of socks for this. 

Give me your favorite sock pattern.  I’ve already knit Jaywalkers, Monkeys, basic old stockinette, basic old 2×2 ribbed, and I’m almost finished with the Flame Wave socks.  I need something fairly simple for these too. 

In other news, it is so much fun to listen to Doug and Liam eat dinner.  Doug asks Liam if he wants more or if he’s done, and Liam "tells" him.  In the past week, we’ve added "eat" and "all done" to his signing vocabulary.  Doug also taught him "touchdown".  I don’t think that’s an official ASL sign, but an official NFL sign.  The other night they had a fart noise making competition with a lot of hysterical laughter in between fart noises.  Ahhh, testosterone.  I need a girl baby.

    Wide Stripes of Black, white, red, or any color you would like.

  2. Consider the Primavera socks. It knits up quickly and the name means spring – implying new beginnings and such. You could even knit it in pretty greens.

    BTW, Touchdown is a *very* important sign.

  5. Don’t have a pattern, but wanted to wish you luck on the upcoming cycle. And for what its worth my girl baby farts and burps like a boy and probably finds more humor in it than my boy child! Go figure.

  6. Good Luck on the cycle and I think you could finish a pair of socks before then. I third the Primavera. It would work with almost any sock yarn. The roving looks amazing!!!!!!!!

  7. I don’t have a suggestion for a pattern, but you need to use some PINK yarn, whatever pattern you choose.
