Flame Wave

April 15, 2008 By Mindy

15 Apr

I finished the Flame Wave socks last night.  I have no idea why it took me so long to actually finish these.  I had stalled on the second sock at the gusset.  Sunday night, while watching Rock of Love, I picked up the gusset stitches, finished the gusset decreases,  knit the foot and toe, and Kitchenered the toe.  Last night at Lambikins, I wove in the ends.

Pattern: Flame Wave socks from Interweave Press Favorite Socks.
Yarn: Cascade Fixation
Needles: US 4 and 5
Pattern Mods: None except I picked up two extra stitches to close the hole where the gussets meets the instep.

I kind of wondered why you had one sock laying on the back of your chair! That explains it. ๐Ÿ™‚

why is Rock of Love so much fun to watch? It’s sooooooo bad, but it’s soooooo good. The socks are lovely!
