I bought an Ashford skeiner to help reskein yarn after we dye it. It is still labor-intensive but not as much as the way we were doing it before.
Oh, yes, that is almost 21,000 yards of undyed yarn in the top picture. Or 40-50 skeins of sock yarn when it’s finished.
