I got home today after another long, slow, boring day at work. And what was in my mailbox???? A gift from my KR Secret Pal! Yay!! It contained the Socks Socks Socks book by Elaine Rowley and some Wildfoote yarn in Zane Grey. Which is a very misleading name. The yarn is blue, purple, and pink. So very very me! Thanks Secret Pal! Now I just have to find the time and the DPN skills. I really want to try socks so this is my perfect incentive!
Here’s a picture of my package:
And here’s a picture of the yarn. You can’t really see the colors, but trust me, they’re very pretty. Also see Roxie giving me some kitty lovins’. She was a purring machine in this picture. You would think she’s excited to see me after getting home from work. Or maybe she’s excited about yarn. But no, all she wants is some food in her bowl.
I haven’t done any knitting in the days since my last post. So nothing new to update there. Tonight is my best knitting night during the week. I knit right through Survivor and CSI so I should have some pictures of my projects in progress. I’m going to buy my winder and swift this weekend so I can get going on Clapotis. Finally!

I’m new on the Knitters webring as well. I have a dumb question – you are a fellow Typepadder, how did you get the webring graphic to work? I have had problems with some and not others. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Mindy,
My christmas stocking actually doesn’t use intarsia, I am still mystified by that technique. I used fairisle to do it, and it really wasn’t hard at all, it was fun. More snow this a.m., by the way!
