Since I just started this blog thing, I’ve been pondering how often to update. I think I’ll update on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and at least one day of the weekend. So if anybody out there is reading, you’ll know when to stop back by.

On my 2 WIPs….
I knitted a couple more inches for the border of the cat bed. I tend to do that during my lunches at work rather than at home. I can sit and talk and knit garter stitch without thinking.
Last night, I cast on for the Union Square Poncho from Weekend Knitting. I was knitting my little heart out and just wasn’t happy with the way it was looking. Granted, I only had about 12 rows knitted, but I thought it looked wonky so I frogged it all and re-cast on. I didn’t do anything different the second time but so far it looks better. It doesn’t seem to look much like the picture. It has the baby cables and everything but it looks lacier than the poncho in the picture. I like it though so that’s all that matters.

I really want to add some pictures to the blog. I like looking at everyone else’s pictures so I know you want to look at mine. But, at the time being, I have no digital camera. Yes, we’re a little bit 20th century in this house. DH and I have discussed buying one lately, but he seems to think that we really don’t need one. I guess I agree, you know, since the 35mm camera that I do own has been around almost 2 decades and is being held together by Scotch tape. I mean who needs a new one when I’ve got a camera already. Anyway, my birthday is in 23 days so maybe I’ll finagle one out of DH soon. (I’m not waiting much longer so I’ll probably buy one on the DL and just *happen* to show it to him one day).

Oh yeah, I went and bought my first KRSP gift for my secret pal. I’m hoping to get that in the mail in the next couple of days. So to my secret pal, be expecting something real soon!
