I start back to work on Saturday. I’m going from full-time to part-time, working only Saturday and Sunday. I’ll be working in a different lab, but I will be the weekend manager. I review data, paperwork, run the microbial ID lab (which I love. I revamped that lab a few years ago so it’s my special little lab.), set up training sessions, and other miscellaneous tasks that will need to be done. I’m not super excited to go back to work for reasons best not discussed here, but I am excited to get out of the house, make a little money (yay! yarn money! woohoo!), and stay with the same company I was with before. If I want to go back full-time, all I have to do is say so. This will be good because I can basically pick any open position when the time is right.
Doug will be taking care of Liam on weekends. This weekend he’ll have help from my mom and sister. Not that he needs help, but they’ll be up visiting.
Liam is doing great! He’s doing those sweet little baby noises and is smiling more and more. He can roll over from tummy to back; he’s been able to do that since he was 8 weeks old. He can hold his head up for 5 minutes or longer when he’s on his tummy. The pediatrician, EI specialist, and a PT all think he’s a little ahead of the game when it comes to gross motor development. He’s a strong little monkey.
Oh, yeah, he sleeps through the night now, too. Ha ha!

Those pictures are great!!
Booo about going back to work, but at least they seem to be working with you. I hope it all goes smoothly. Just think of the yarn possabilities. ๐

Hope all goes smoothly with the work transition. It’s great that your company is so flexible.
and just so you know…neither of my kids slept through the night until they were TWO YEARS OLD. You have a nice baby there!

I just wanted to tell you that you have one of the cutest babies I have ever seen. Everytime I read your blog and see the picture of him sleeping at the top of the page it makes me smile. I absolutely love the 3 pictures you posted, especially the one in the middle. Good luck going back to work.
