Leave a comment. Apparently, Typepad has made some changes to the comment features, and I need to check this out for myself. These changes have pissed off a whole bunch of people, knitbloggers in particular, and I need to have a looksee on my own.
Edit: Thank you to Cate and TUC for commenting. Typepad no longer allows for users to reply to commenters directly via e-mail and is pushing for replies to comments to be in the comment section of the post. I HATE THIS. While I don't respond to every single comment ever, when I do respond, I prefer e-mail. There are ass backwards ways around this; however, the e-mail reply is no longer linked to the comment. THIS SUCKS ASS. I've let Typepad know my feelings on this and have asked them to give bloggers the choice in how to respond to comments. From other knitblogs, I've heard that Typepad just basically says "Deal with it." Shitty customer service, Typepad. Just plain shitty. As an aside, Typepad made changes behind the scenes as well. When they made this switch, I lost the format of my old design. It just was gone. I got no help from Typepad service. Their support basically said "Fix it yourself." I was thinking about a blog redesign anyway, but shitty service Typepad. Shitty service.

So right that the customer service has to completely change at TypePad. A VP at TypePad/6Apart commented at nownormaknits today and it sounds as if the technical stuff *may* be addressed this week. We’ll see. I think that company will be in the doghouse for quite a while.

It’s such a pain. I think the worst part is that they didn’t even let us know of the change – they just unilaterally did it. Shame on Typepad!

How annoying! I was wondering about this/slightly ignoring it. I NEVER go back and comment on comments/in comments and don’t expect my readers to either. SO SOSOSOSOSOSOOSOSOSOSOSO lame!
