I've had a lot to post about lately. I want to show my newest FO, the Belmondo Shawl. I want to show my latest projects on the needles, a Cedar Leaf Shawlette and a warshrag. I want to show Liam's new glasses. I have yarn to list in the shop. The one glitch in getting this finished has been my camera.
I bought a little HP point and shoot way back in 2004. It bit the dust for good this week. It had been acting up for several weeks now, but always recovered enough to snap a few shots here and there. Now, it's gonzo. It was a good camera and it did take some good pictures, but it's time has come.
I went out this morning, both kids in tow, and bought a Nikon D3000. I hope to start snapping away this afternoon.
Let's hope this is the kick in the pants I need to be a better blogger. I have things I want to share and say.
The Unraveled Librarian says
I got a D3000 on Monday because of all the memorial day deals this week. So far, I love it, but am looking forward to having my sister (who is a professional photographer) teach me what all the doodads do. Enjoy your new camera!
