Liam had his appointment today to check his kidneys and bladder as a result of the UTI. For once, I can say everything is normal. Woohoo! No urine refluxing back into the bladder and normal anatomy. He screamed until he was losing his voice during the procedure. The radiologist was fantastic. A kind and gentle doctor who sang songs to Liam as he was working.
Liam is back to his happy old self now.

Poor boy – it sounds horrifying. Hooray for the good new though. ๐

Good news!
The screaming is heartbreaking but I do like to see a kid with some fight in him.
And yay for gentle doctors. Why are they so few and far between?

Oh – how hard to hear the screaming! It sounds like the docs were wonderful and kind though.
I’m so glad all is well!!!

I am so glad that things came back normal. It is never easy to hear them cry even though you know it is for their own good.

Glad to hear that you got good news! It has to be heartbreaking to hear your little one cry and scream. All doctors should be kind and gentle, but especially pediatricians and pediatric specialists.

Oh geez…my Abby had to go through the Kidney ultrasound and vcug. Of course, she was 6 at the time, not a baby, so things were easier. She did not enjoy it, that’s for sure! I can’t imagine having to take such a little guy for the same tests. It’s wonderful news, though, that all turned out well.
I just found your blog through Beth. Isn’t she great? ๐
