Knots are an inevitable part of knitting. Sometimes knots just happen. I accept it and don't grumble about it much.
Last night, as I was knitting away on Haruni, I found a knot in the yarn. I was almost to the end of a row, and I didn't have enough yarn to work to the end of the row without the knot finding its way into the shawl. I unknit a few lace repeats to give myself room to cut out the knot and rejoin the yarn. As I'm about to cut out the offending knot, I look down and find another knot inches away from the first one.
They're not even full knots but knots between plies of the yarn. I had to unknit some more so I could avoid the second knot. So frustrating.

Arrgh! That is so frustrating!
My yarn is less than stellar right now too. It has these frayed spots in it that are sucking the joy right out of the knitting!
