Easter Weekend
We drove 3 hours to my mom’s for Easter. Liam slept the great majority of the trip there and back. The only downside was on the trip there. We left at 9pm after he had a bottle. He woke up when we got there and decided to stay awake until 2am. We finally put him down and went to sleep. He was happy to lay and chat with the mobile above the Pack n’ Play.
Liam met the entire family. No pictures of anyone except Liam and my grandma.
On Saturday, my sister and I headed out by ourselves to go to the Huntington LYS. It. Was. Closed. Closed. On a Saturday. So we drive to Ashland, Kentucky to go to the LYS there. Closed. WTF? I think it’s a very bad business decision to be closed on a Saturday. They were probably closed because it was a holiday weekend, but still. Closed? After driving all over, we ate Easter dinner.
Sunday, we took Liam to church.
We hung out after church. Took a nap. Then we took Liam out to his first restaurant.
After dinner, we drove back home.
Spring Break
Last week was Spring Break for anyone who has a kid in school or works for a school. Doug’s brother and his family drove down from New York to visit. On Wednesday, we went to the Newport Aquarium.
As you can see, Liam was thrilled. The aquarium was crowded, and I was extremely annoyed. I was a giant crankpot.
Thursday, my mom came to visit. On Friday, she watched Liam, and I went shopping. Alone. For myself. Wheeeeeee!
A milestone
Cereal is a success. I believe peas will be making an appearance. Possibly today.
Okay, I think that’s about everything. I have pictures of my almost finished Jaywalker. The scarf has been washed, but it’s still waiting for fringe. I’m trying really hard not to cast on for another sock.
Now for just some sweet baby cuteness.

LOVE that last shot with the big smile – so cute.

In the cereal picture, he looks like he’s saying, “you’ve gotta be kidding me.” Cute pictures and I agree – the yarn stores should have been open. The one I went to was (but it was in Michigan).

Sounds like you had a nice time with your family. I hate it when the Aquarium is packed. People seem to be so rude and they let their kids run wild. We try to do on a week day in hopes that there won’t be so many people. I do love the Aquarium though. You should have stopped at the LYS that is right up the road from it. ๐
I can’t believe that Liam is old enough to start eating cereal! Holy crap!! Looks like he was having fun with it. =)
He is such a happy little man. Just look at those big blue eyes and that big smile.

He is so cute – look at that smile! Peas were a hit with d – hopefully Liam will like them equally as well.
I’ve had the same thing happen to me when visiting my LYS – it sucks!
