I made another yarn purchase after my shopping at Lambikins’ sale. I’ve been oogling The Loopy Ewe for a while now. Checking out all of the pretty, pretty yarn but never buying anything. I finally broke down when I saw the J Knits yarn in the colorway West Virginia. I don’t think I would’ve been drawn to the colorway if it didn’t have that name, and I never would have bought it if it was Mountaineer blue and gold (WVU sucks! Go Herd!). However, it is so much prettier in person than I ever imagined. I also bought some Claudia Handpaint in the Chocolate Cherry colorway. And some sock blockers cause I think they’re cool.
As promised, Liam is modeling again. He’s in the mood to model today. Yesterday, not so much.
That’s the Claudia Handpaint.
The J Knits in West Virginia.
The sock blockers.
That’s all the booty. Ignore the dirty doormat–it was the best light at that moment.
Obviously, it’s all for socks. The Claudia Handpaint will go in the stash. The J Knits will be vacation knitting. We’re going to the mountains in July. I am looking forward to staying in our cabin right on the Greenbrier River, sitting in the porch swing and just knitting.
I will order again from The Loopy Ewe. The service was fast and I got a little special treat in my package. Included were little needle inventory cards for DPNs, circs, and straights. I’ve read that the owner, Sheri, includes these small treats in every package, but it’s just so nice. Go check out the store; I’m sure you’ll find something you’ll like.

Yummy yarn goodness. That boy doesn’t have a chance to not love fiber. ๐

Love that shot with Liam and the sock blocker….Very Fun. As my roommate Joyce would say….that’s F. U. N.
Ok, so our vocabulary is a bit limited while gazing at the whales cavorting in the waves.
I love that you are able to go back to work, good experience for baby and Daddy.
My nieces are growing by leaps and bounds, it is a bit scary to see how fast. Enjoy every moment, soon Liam will be running through Kroger’s, giving you gray hair.
Love the yarn shots…..I am a little deprived here, no wool at all.
