Mommyness

October 11, 2007 By Mindy

11 Oct

We were sitting on the floor on an old family quilt together this morning.  I was reading One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish.  He was listening intently.  We were snacking on graham crackers and apple juice.  His hands were sticky.

Quintessential mommyness.

P.S.  He won’t drink out of a sippy cup only a "big boy" cup.  He will put a graham cracker in his mouth.  Big progress.

    You know you’re a mommy when…

you put on your sweatshirt that you haven’t worn since last winter (because it’s FINALLY the first cold day of Fall), and in the pocket you find a Cheerio from who-knows-when.

It is amazing the things that you overlook when you are a mom. Sitcky juice and crackers covering me – oh that’s ok.
Baby puke down your shirt – oh that’s ok just mommy perfume. LOL

Way to go Liam with the big boy cup and putting those yummy crackers in your mouth.
