O O O’s!

February 12, 2009 By Mindy

12 Feb

The conversation in our house at lunchtime yesterday and today…

Me: Liam, what do you want for lunch today?
Liam:  O!
Me: O's?
Liam: O!  O O O!
Me: Okay, O's it is.  Do you want anything else?
Liam: Ge-ges.
Me:  Give me a couple of minutes.  We'll eat O's and ge-ges for lunch.
Liam:  Eat!  Eat eat!
Me:  In a minute.
Liam: O!
Me:  Fixing it.
Liam: Boof!
Me:  You always get milk for lunch.  Give me a minute.
Liam:  Eat!

After lunch is over…

Liam:  Ding!  Ding ding ding!
Me:  Pudding is only for after dinner.
Liam: Ding! Peassss.
Me:  No pudding after lunch.
Liam: No.  Bah duh.

O's = Spaghetti-O's
Ge-ges = oranges
Boof = milk
Ding = pudding
Peass = please
Bah duh = all done

Actual conversation.  Mostly understandable, especially if you know the signs since most everything has a sign with the word.  Lovin' it.

    It makes life so much easier when they can tell you want they want. Even if it isn’t always what they are allowed. ๐Ÿ™‚
