Today is Opening Day. Liam roots for the Reds.
Tonight, we’re having an Opening Day dinner– cheese coneys, tater tots, corn on the cob, and lemonade. And, maybe some cookies if I can get around to baking them.
I haven’t been knitting much. Here’s what’s been going on.
We take walks and enjoy the springtime. Side note: I’m glad we live in a neighborhood where I can walk anywhere I want and feel secure. There’s always other moms pushing strollers, people jogging and walking dogs, and kids riding bikes and playing. Suburbia at its best.
It’s definitely Spring in Ohio. Daffodils and tulips have bloomed. Our weeping cherry tree (that’s it above) has bloomed, and everything is green.
I’ve been cooking. I am the family chef. I almost always have a meal on the table when Doug gets home from work. How very housewifey of me, but I enjoy cooking.
That’s a coconut chicken curry. Yummy!
I’ve been working. This weekend was hellish at work. I think it was because this was my first weekend on my own without another manager and the employees wanted to test me. What is it about 22 and 23 year olds that won’t allow them to take constructive criticism? Kids these days, I tell ya. And, when did I get old?
I came home from work and found this on the camera. Obviously, Doug has fun with Liam.

You’ve been busy! Spring has spring here too. The chicken looks delicious and Liam is so cute! I hope you are able to find some time to knit too – it can be hard sometimes.
