Here’s the cabled shrug.  On a circular needle and about 5 rows more than the last picture.

Jaywalker Socks

I haven’t really mentioned the Jaywalkers except for noting that I’m working on a pair in the sidebar.  I love this pattern.  Very, very well-written.

One sock is finished.  I need to start the second one.

That’s a closeup of the leg.  I’m using Lorna’s Laces Sheperd Sock in the Purple Iris colorway.  A Christmas gift from my sister.  It’s MY FAVORITE SOCK YARN EVER!   It’s soft and it knits up like a dream.  No crazy splitting or weirdness.  How am I ever going to knit another sock that is not Lorna’s Laces?  Even Koigu isn’t as good as this.  Since I’m using LL Sport for my Knitting Olympic project, I’m looking forward to starting the shawl.  I can’t wait to make the swatch; this yarn is that good.
