I’m beat. I feel like I haven’t slept in a week. I didn’t go to bed late last night so I’m blaming it on the rain. Now I’m having an 8th grade flashback to Milli Vanilli and junior high cheerleading.

Here’s the lopi lace scarf. I’ve just started to get going on it. I DO NOT like the Reynolds Lite Lopi yarn. It’s described as “rugged”. Yeah, so rugged that it splits itself and feels like mangy dog. Okay, maybe mangy dog is a bit harsh. More like sandpaper. If I knit this again, it won’t be with this yarn. But it looks girly and pretty. Maybe I’ll gift it to my sister who likes all things pretty in pink.

The poncho still looks the same, just a little longer. Not worth a picture. Still no winding of the yarn for Clapotis. I really think I’m going to spend my birthday money on a winder and swift.

I’m off for now. I’m hungry and sleepy. I’m going to knit tonight since there’s nothing on TV except for election coverage. Wake me when we have a President.
