Long time, no post…
I promise, from this point forth, that I will update more than once a week and will dutifully try to stick to a regular posting schedule, whenever I come up with one.
Okay, the drop scarf is finished. A quick and painless knit. Here is my beautiful model shot. Notice you will see nothing above the shoulders or below the waist since I had not brushed my hair in over 24 hours and am wearing pajamas that could pass for dishrags…my normal weekend attire.
I mentioned earlier that I was taking a class at Lambikin’s…Socks on DPN. Well, here ya go. One mostly finished sock.
Now I don’t know if I can make it all the way through another sock without some help and reminders about what the heck I did on the first one, but now I know how to use DPNs. Slowly but surely increasing my skills. Yay for me!
Maybe you’re wondering about the title of this post. It’s for my sister who has been checking out the blog and making many requests. I got an e-mail from her last week telling me that she wants a scarf, a poncho, legwarmers, fingerless mitts, and I think socks were on the list as well. She left a comment in my last post telling me to get going on the fingerless mitts. I think it’s high time I teach her how to cast on. Tracy, I bringing some sticks and string with me when I come home in a few weeks. I’m teaching you how to knit. Resistance is futile. I will tell the world what exactly happened to the seventeen cents. You can’t deny it; Mom will back me up. You wanted me to talk about you more on my blog. How’s this for ya instead?
Tracy says
Okay. A few comments….one really bad picture. The seventeen cents wasn’t my fault. And seriously I am not that coordinator to knit. Fingerless mitts would really help me out at work. I freeze.
