The LYS is having a sale.  I stopped by with my sister after I got off work this past Saturday.  Liam has generously agreed to model for you.

From left to right: Alpaca Fingering Weight in a maroon color (not black like it looks in the picture), Louet Gems (red), Artyarns Ultramerino (browns and greens), and Louet Pearl (brown).  Everything is intended to be socks someday except the alpaca; it’ll probably be lace of some sort.

Liam has agreed to model the next yarn arrival as well.  It should be here in the next day or so, but we’ll talk about it when it gets here.

As for returning to work, it was work.  Not much has changed since I left that position a few years ago.  A couple of paperwork changes, some different client specs, and a whole bunch of new people I don’t know.  It was harder leaving Liam than I thought especially on Sunday morning when he was awake. 

I can’t think of a good way to transition into this one so I’ll just say, I love high speed internet connections.  Up until this morning, we’ve had crappy dial-up.  I installed the new high speed router and it’s fantastic.  What would normally take me 12 hours to download, only took 2 minutes this morning.  I’ll have great podcasts on my iPod for work on Saturday.  I’ve been listening to Lime N’ Violet, and I’m addicted.  Now I can catch up on everything I couldn’t download because it took too damn long.
