Instead of trying to track down a small crochet hook to do the beading on the stole, I thought I’d try to rig one up all ghetto-style. Note to self: a paper clip cannot be substituted for a crochet hook.
I ordered 2 crochet hooks from Beadwrangler. I don’t know if I can wait until they get here next week so I’m off on a hunt tomorrow after my hair appointment (it’s about damn time for my hair to be cut) to find super small crochet hooks (0.85 mm or so). Any ideas?

Back that one time I tried beading, I got a set of tiny steel ones at a LYS – Knit On in Bellevue I think. It’s been years though.

Call Christina. She got in some a while back. I just looked at the one I got from her and it 1,25 on it. Think that might be too big, but she did order some for Sheila and she might have ordered an extra few for the store. I know the ones she orderes for Sheila were weeeeee tiny.

Oh yeah, I have heard of some people using dental floss to loop around the yarn then pulling the floss through the bead onto the yarn. The waxed stuff works the best because it will stick together and you can make it to a point to put through the bead.

I ordered mine at the Beadwrangler and it came fast. However, I was at my LYS and noticed that they carried the same hook!
