Due to the recent lack of serious knitting progress in these here parts, I give you the completely unoriginal, already been done but not by me yet…100 things about me.

1.  I was born in Huntington, West Virginia.

2. I have 2 younger sisters, Tracy and Lindsey.

3. I was my class valedictorian.

4.  And class president.

5. I have a Bachelors degree from Wittenberg University.

6. I was a Biology major.

7.  I was one class away from a Chemistry minor.  Physical chemistry was the class I needed, and absolutely no freakin’ way!

8. I graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

9. I was a Varsity football and basketball cheerleader.

10. I met my husband when I was an 18 year old freshman.

11.  Our first date was the movie Dumb and Dumber.

12. I have 3 cats.

13.  Chaos is 18 years old and lives with my mom.

14. Roxie and Spike live with me and my husband.  Roxie was adopted from the local animal shelter and Spike was a stray that we took in after it was obvious that he belonged to no one.

15. I have blue eyes.

16.  My hair is auburn. 

17. I like my hair long.

18. I haven’t had bangs since 1990.

19. I am a microbiologist.

20. I love to watch football.

21. I have small feet.

22. I have an addiction to beauty products.

23.  I continually buy nail polish, lip gloss, and bubble bath.

24. I have no memories of not being able to read.

25. My mom taught me to read when I was 3.

26. I started school a year early.

27. My mom is a middle school special education teacher.

28. I do not have any kids.

29. I want kids very, very soon.

30. I am very good at my job.

31. I am 4′ 10".

32. My husband is 6′ 1".

33. I would quit my job and move back to my hometown tomorrow if I could.

34. I live about 30 minutes north of Cincinnati.

35. I like living here.

36. The only foreign countries I’ve been to are Canada and Mexico.

37. I want to go to Ireland.

38. I’m terrified of flying.

39. My favorite television show of all time is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

40. I own all the DVD’s and have every episode memorized.

41. My parents are divorced.

42. I rarely talk to my dad.  Last time was about 5 years ago.

43. This does not bother me.  It’s just the way things are.

44. I looove potato chips. Sour cream and onion and salt and vinegar are my favorites.

45. We do not buy potato chips when we go to the grocery store.

46. My favorite candy bar is Cadbury Crunchie.

47. I do not like coffee.

48. I like to drink tea, both hot and iced.

49. I do not like unsweetened tea.

50. I do not eat vegetables.

51. I only eat potatoes, corn, mushrooms, and peas.

52. I will only eat green beans if they are fresh from the garden or home-canned by my grandma.

53. I once got into trouble for stealing Christmas decorations out of people’s front yards.

54. I got drunk for the first time when I was 15.

55. I used to be able to drink a whole bottle of Southern Comfort and then some in one night.

56. I can’t drink like that anymore.

57. I don’t want to.

58. I can yell really loud.

59. I dropped out of graduate school.

60. I have 85 credits towards a Ph.D. in Microbiology.

61. I have no plans or desire to finish.

62. I have published an article in the Journal of Bacteriology.

63. I have a niece and 2 nephews.

64. I’ve broken my wrist.

65. I took gymnastics classes at Jewel City Gymnastics and The Gym Factory from ages 8-15.

66. I have had more sprained ankles than I can remember.

67. When I retire, I want to live in a cabin in the mountains of West Virginia.

68. I drive a 2002 Honda Accord.

69. My first car was a 1995 Mercury Tracer.

70. I got my drivers license when I was 21.

71. I pop my knuckles.

72. I twirl my hair into knots.

73. My best friend’s name is Bridget.  We’ve been friends since the 4th grade.

74. My kindergarten teacher was Mrs. Kline.

75. I thought the other kids in kindergarten were slow because they didn’t know how to read.

76. I am shy and quiet around people I’ve just met.

77. I talk a lot once I get to know you.

78. I once got moved to the front of the classroom for talking too much.  Now that I think about it, that happened twice.

79. I’ve been knitting for 1 year.

80. I like to knit socks.

81. I think every yarn has its uses, but I like certain ones much better than others.

82. I like most music.

83. I like country music except for the crap they play on the radio.

84. I listen to 700 WLW or 97 WOXY online while I’m working.

85. I usually knit when I’m in my PJ’s in bed.

86. I have been married for 5 years. (5 years this Friday)

87. My husband and I have been together for 10 years.

88. I sing when I drive.

89. I have been promoted 3 times and have had 5 raises in the past three years.

90. I like to take naps on Sunday afternoon.

91. I cry often at the silliest things.

92. My grandpa died in January.

93. I wear Tangerine Lychee perfume by Fresh.

94. I love Aveda hair products.

95. I hate to clean my house, but my lab is immaculate.

96. I wish I knew how to make homemade jelly.

97. I am a Scorpio.

98. I think I want to be a stay at home mom whenever we have kids.

99. I sung in the church choir when I was little.  I can’t make myself sing in public anymore.
