I had this whole post planned out with pictures of my new yarn acquistions. But…my camera is not connecting to the computer right at this moment. So, you’ll just have to wait for a bit before I tell you all about what I bought. Taking the yarn out of the bags inspired me to knit. I am finishing the straps of the (no) monkey on my back (pack) tonight. Then I just have to seam the monster. It’s so close to finished that I desperately need to finish it.
Note to self: Finish the stinking backpack already. The book will still be there tomorrow.
I’m reading The Time Traveler’s Wife for the K1 Read Too group. I’m about halfway through and I just can’t put it down. It’s been a while since I found a book that makes me shut out the rest of the world. It’s nice to find a book like this. By the way, the book smells good. The paper has a nice feel and smells nice. Some people sniff yarns; I sniff new books. Always have.
I’m a geek.

Time Traveller’s Wife was my fave book from 2004…cool style and story. Wonder if my self from last year could pop in to join your 2005 readalong!?! …and I COMPLETELY respect book sniffers!
Cool blog, and hope to see you again!
