We might have several more weeks of hot weather still ahead of us, but our summer is over. Summer was crazy busy: Juliana had a week of camp, Liam did two weeks of camp, Liam played baseball for most of the summer, Juliana started competition dance classes in July, we spent a week in New York, we went to a Cincinnati Reds game. There were very few lazy summer days.

And, last week! Last week the best thing happened. They went back to school! They’re both in school full-time now! I have 9:30 to 4:00 Monday-Friday to myself! It’s glorious.

This means I have more time to work and design. Our goal has been for me to design full-time once they’re both in school all day. I’m trying to figure out how to effectively schedule my days so I can be productive with both the designing and business stuff and with the household stuff. I’m sure it will take a bit of time to figure out how this is going to go, but I’m excited to move forward and have my little business grow.
