- Liam is not an angel. Neither is your kid. They're just kids.
- Liam is not a special gift from God. What does that make Juliana? And, how fucking presumptuous of you to assume what someone else's private beliefs are.
- There are no such things as death panels.
- You can be pro-choice and choose to have a child with Down syndrome. The idea is not mutually exclusive. Being pro-choice and having a child with Down syndrome does not make someone a horrible advocate for their child. Or a bad parent.

Can you read my inner thoughts? The “angel” thing particularly bothers me since my son (who happens to have DS) is in his terrible two’s and frankly I am growing grey hairs chasing after him! I wish he was an angel!!!

I’m with ya. I get #2 alot because he’s adopted – along with what a wonderful person I am for taking the child in. Bugs the crap out of me.
