I’m back! We were on vacation the last two weeks. This week I’ve been easing back into the real world, and the kids started school this week (!!!!!!) so there’s not much I have to share.
- I finished The Birds of Opulence by Crystal Wilkinson, the first selection for the Open Canon Book Club. I loved the book. I probably never would have picked it up if it hadn’t been the book club selection. I’m now reading The Crow Trap by Ann Cleeves.
- I was introduced to these pickles on vacation. They were so freaking good. They were sweet and sour and spicy. I’m going to make a batch next week.
- Dinner of the week: Baked Spaghetti. Because sometimes you just need something that’s unfussy and will feed the family for a couple of days.
- I’m currently watching the newest season of The Bletchley Circle on BritBox. I loved the first season, the second season was decent. This third season has moved from the UK to San Francisco. I’m interested to see how it goes.
- I finished a pair of socks on vacation (no pictures yet) and am almost finished with the knitting of the next design.
