1. Went home. Spent time with my family. Ate good food. Girls knitted. Boys played X-box.
2. Bought 2 nearly identical bridesmaids dresses. The differences? Different color–one periwinkle, one bisque; different top–one a halter, one a sweetheart neckline tank; different lace wraps–each dress has a little lacey wrap jacket–one in white, one in cream. Hoo boy that was fun!
3. Went to Toledo. Visited friends from college. Drove home the same day. 6 hours on the road. Love it!
4. Read 3 books. To the Power of Three by Laura Lippman, Mary Mary by James Patterson, My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Piccoult.
5. Found Yarn & More in Ashland, Kentucky (close to the fam). Bought big, chunky yarn for a scarf on big, chunky needles.
6. Knit some on the Who Dey socks.
7. Made prime rib with mushroom cream sauce, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a chocolate pecan pie for New Year’s Eve. Drank wine.
8. Watched football.
I think that sums it up nicely.
