What’s Going On

March 25, 2013 By Mindy

25 Mar

Sleepingj

A girl so tired after school, she falls asleep while I'm cooking dinner.

Sockinprogress2

Vanilla socks in progress, pushed to the backburner while I work on designs for different publications.

Projectbag1

My new project bag from Bird Leg Bags.

Chocolatebar

A chocolate bar we picked up on our last trip to Jungle Jim's.

Pastry1

The chocolate "pastries" we made from that chocolate bar.

Pastry2

They're so easy Juliana can do most of the work herself. Break the chocolate bar into pieces then wrap them in crescent roll dough. Bake, then drizzle them with a glaze made of confectioner's sugar and water. Eat them while they're still warm.

My mouth is watering and I can’t tell if it is from the yummy sock yarn, the pretty project bag, the lovely looking chocolate or the pastries! What a delicious post. That chocolate bar is a work of art, I bet it’s hard to take the first chunk out of it – who am I kidding, it’s always easy to eat chocolate, no matter how pretty it is!
